SOLACTIS Group, a company specialized in ingredients from bioscience , for the human nutrition and animal feed materials industries , today announces the strengthening of its capital through a first fundraising conducted in Q3 2015.

“We welcome this finalization, including the entrance to the capital of a long-term investor, which supports our development strategy towards new growth sectorsof the food industry,” said Pascal Ronfard, President of the SOLACTIS Group. “The move will also boost the company by integrating the management, through the new legislative framework for employee participation.”

After the acquisition to Solvay of a limited trading activity in July 2013, Groupe SOLACTIS has shown its ability to drive internal growth together with external operations. Therefore, this funding comes as a logical step, in order to accelerate the development of the company.

The objective remains to accelerate the growth of SOLACTIS Group on its two markets of human nutrition and animal feed materials. and more specifically in the fields of digestive health, for regulating the transit and immunity. There will be investments in more R&D, driven towards the identification of new active ingredients and also towards new health claims (in Europe and outside Europe), as key dossiers are already in advanced steps.
